Sat. February 26th Booster Club Meeting @ All Star Sports, 4 pm

Red vs. White Scrimmage – 2/26th, need $350. For All Star Sports (Bob P.)

Deadline is March 1st.  Program available on March 24th, costs $350 to print.

Team Photos – need to be taken by March 13th.  Johm Malone, Gary Green coordinating.  We need some head shots of Varsity Boys and Girls. We need a team photo from the 2004 Modified Boys for the 2005 Program.  Nancy Thon is doing the Program.

Kickoff Dinner is Thursday, March 24th at PHS.  Arvans are coordinating.  Flyers will be handed out to the Varsity and JV teams.

Raffle Tickets have been distributed and money is being collected.  Tickets go to Jim McKenna for April 2nd drawing at half time of Varsity home game vs. Hilton.  Money and tickets will be collected by the McKenna’s at the KO Dinner.

Varsity Photo CD will be created at the end of the season and can be purchased at the KO Dinner for $10.  Please see Ken Dell and make your reservation/payment for one.

Car Wash Fund Raiser – Saturday, May 7th at Hess Gas Station, 250/441.  JV’s from 9am to noon.  Varsity from noon to 3 pm.  We need everyone to help raise money.

Financials –    Bob Petrone to report current balance, payables, receipts. Expected Expense Items - $5,500.  Fund raising should exceed this.

1.   March Indoor Field Times – Varsity and JV - $3,000. Est.

2.   Varsity Volunteer Coach -- $500.

3.   Modified Volunteer Coach - $500.

4.   Varsity filming - $800.

5.   Varsity golf shirts - $350.

6.   Helmet stickers - $350.

Senior Day – Saturday, April 30th before the Oswego Game at 11 am.  Arvan’s coordinating.  Roses donated by the Flower Barn.  Need photographer & announcer.

Midnight Madness – Sat at TSE, 11 pm Varsity vs. Canandaigua.  (Need $225.)

Year End Banquet – targeted for Sunday, June 5th.  Captains parents coordinate.

 

Turkeyshoot money for the 2 Varsity teams should be in by now. Its $35 to Penfield Lacrosse Booster Club, can give to Coach Rice or Jeff Thon or Jim McKenna or Tom VanThof or (Jim Molloy collecting for the JV team).

Varsity practice for Turkeyshoot is at Thon Field (Whalen/Dublin) on Sat. 11/6th at 12 noon.

TSE Indoor League begins 11/15th and 11/16th, Varsity A and B teams. $55 due for that. Player or parent Waiver signatures are needed. See Jeff Thon (A) or Tom VanThof (B).

Bob Petrone to send $1200 balance to TSE for indoor league fees.

In season, We will rent time for the JV Team in March 9th and 16th at All-Star Sports in Irondequiot. Jay Pfeffer to coordinate. $175 per hour for 4 hours.

Turkeyshoot Nov 7th will have (2) Varsity Teams.  $1,000 paid.

Cost per player is $35.00

TSE Leagues ($800/team) will have Varsity A Team on Mondays (5 games) beginning 11/15th. Varsity B Team on Tuesdays beginning 11/16th.  Cost for this session is $55 per player.

Expect Varsity and JV Lax Camp on Sunday mornings from January thru March (5 weeks). Sign-up thru Penfield Recreation. Camp held at PHS on Sunday mornings. See Coach Rice.

Jay Pfeffer to investigate All Star Sports for March practice times.

Currently we have $1,800. (10 hours) reserved at TSE in March.

$1,200. was given to Jim McKenna for deposit into Patriot Booster Club.

This money will go to TSE eventually for league payments.

What does the #19 signify in the Penfield Lacrosse logo?
The #19 is used in the memory of Todd Bernhardt, a lacrosse player from Penfield who lost his life at too young an age.
