The pay is
bad but the hours are long!
 |
No lacrosse experience needed/required. |
 |
If you are new to lacrosse and/or coaching you will be
paired with an experienced coach. |
 |
All you need is a great attitude towards kids and a
few hours a week. |
 |
Save 50% on PYL registration fees for your child. |
 |
Coaches should try to make every practice, but if your
schedule prevents that we can work around it. Do not shy away if you have to
miss one night a week! |
 |
Season runs from mid-April to about mid June. |
 |
Boys programs practice M/W/F evenings, around 6pm to
7:30pm. We ask the boys to make two of the three per week. |
 |
Girls programs practice T/TH evenings, around 6pm to
7:30pm. |
 |
"Game day" coaching is very simple, especially at the
younger ages (sometimes there is little strategy beyond trying to complete a
pass!). |
 |
Games are scheduled via the
Rochester Area Lacrosse League site. |

Youth Lacrosse", ISBN 0736037942. |

Coaches Credo:
One hundred years from now
It will not matter
What kind of car I drove,
What kind of house I lived in,
How much money I had in my bank account,
Nor what my clothes looked like.
But one hundred years from now
The world may be a little better
Because I was important
In the life of a child.
